CSCN Membership Types and Fees
The Canadian Society for Clinical Nutrition (CSCN) is dedicated
to the advancement of excellence in nutritional science, for the promotion
of health as well as prevention and treatment of disease. Founded in 2001,
the Society is growing and complements the activities of other professional
associations and societies in Canada.
CSCN offers two types of Membership: Individual Membership
and Industry Membership.
Individual Membership
This membership type was developed for the participation
of individuals from various disciplines, in order to build strong research
and educational programs. Individual Membership has two sub-categories:
a) Regular Membership, for :
- Physicians
- PhD's or other scientists conducting research in nutrition
- Dietitians
- Allied health care professionals involved in nutrition
care, such as
- Nurses
- Pharmacists
- Trainees
- Annual Membership Fee: $100.00
b) Student Membership, for:
- Students, interns and trainees studying/training in the
area of nutrition
- Annual Membership Fee: $60.00

Industry Membership
Industry Membership is for Companies or organizations
with an interest in clinical nutrition. Companies are encouraged to support
the CSCN. Your participation will provide you the opportunity to:
- Demonstrate your commitment to the advancement of research
and constructive dialogue in the area of clinical nutrition
- Support the establishment and operation of the CSCN
- Access qualified and influential professionals in the
field
- Have representation on the CSCN Industry Liaison Committee
(based on a three-year commitment)
- Opportunities to collaborate on research and educational
initiatives
